Air India has issued an operational update to its trade partners following ongoing disruptions caused by evolving geopolitical developments in parts of the Middle East. These developments have led to airspace constraints and have required several operational adjustments across international routes. In response, the airline is currently operating a reduced flight schedule on select routes while continuing to closely monitor the situation and align its operations with the latest regulatory and airspace advisories issued by authorities. Despite these temporary challenges, Air India has reaffirmed its commitment to minimizing disruption for passengers and supporting its travel partners during this period. The airline emphasized that it remains focused on maintaining smooth operations as far as possible and ensuring that customers experience minimal inconvenience. It also confirmed that it is working closely with regulators, airport authorities, and industry partners to restore full operational capacity as soon as conditions permit, although further adjustments may be required depending on the evolving situation. Even with these temporary changes, Air India continues to operate a strong global network with more than 1,200 international flights every month across five continents. This includes 33 weekly flights to North America, 47 weekly flights to Europe, 57 weekly flights to the United Kingdom, 8 weekly flights to Australia, 158 weekly flights across the Far East, Southeast Asia, and SAARC regions, and 7 weekly flights to Mauritius in Africa, ensuring continued global connectivity. Passengers and travel partners are advised to regularly check updated flight schedules and availability before confirming bookings by referring to GDS systems, partner booking platforms, and the official Air India website. Customers are also encouraged to verify their flight status prior to departure and ensure that contact details such as email addresses and phone numbers are correctly updated in their bookings so that timely operational notifications and advisories can be received. Air India continues to closely monitor developments in the region and remains committed to safety, reliability, and transparent communication. The airline appreciates the continued understanding and support of its partners and passengers as it navigates these temporary operational challenges.
